Mamata calls urgent meeting at Nabanna tomorrow, key administrative officials to attend
Two bullion traders were shot dead by unknown bike-borne miscreants while both resisted looting in Siwan district on Saturday evening. The injured shopkeepers were identified as Sachin Sah and Shamshad Ahmed, residents of Purandarpur village.
According to the police, the incident took place near Purandarpur market in Goriyakothi police station area when five miscreants on two-wheeler intercepted Sachin, who was returning home on his bike with Shamshad after closing his shops at Bhithi Bazar.
When the two tried to raise an alarm, the miscreants shot at them and stabbed Sachin before fleeing with a bag containing Rs 6,000 cash and his bike. Both the injured persons were admitted to Sadar Hospital, from where they were sent to Patna for treatment.
Goriyakothi SHO Abhimanyu said both the injured underwent treatment at PMCH. One of them was wounded by a bullet in the chest and another in the leg.
