Saif Ali Khan discards rumours of firing security guard, takes legal action against paparazzi

When it comes to being papa-friendly, actor Saif Ali Khan is definitely not the one. He often prefers to skip photo shoots or even pose for the media. But the good thing is that he is never seen being rude to the paparazzi even when she sees them around.

But in a recent incident, he was extremely unhappy about paparazzi raiding his building at 2:00 am IST on March 2. After this incident, there were rumors that Khan had fired his bodyguard and was also taking legal action against the paparazzi media. Deciding to clear the air, the 52-year-old issued a statement refusing to take any action against them.

Khan said: “The security of the building is not fired, it's not his fault and no one is going to take legal action against the bouncers because that's not how we want to do things. But the fact is they barged into private property through a gate, bypassed security and completely invaded our space and put 20 cameras and lights on us as if it was their right, and that's bad behavior and everyone needs to be within bounds."

He further added: “We still work with the paparazzi and we understand each other, but outside the house, behind the gate, otherwise, where is the line? That's why I commented on the bedroom because they've already crossed one line, so how many lines does one have to cross before it's completely ridiculous. Paparazzi shooting kids while they're in after-school classes or any class, it's all not required, paparazzi can't come inside the school and there are lines drawn.'

Actor Vikram Vedha clarified the rumours, saying, “This is all we are saying and the rest of the noise and chatter is because no one knows what the truth is and everyone wants to sell something, but this is the truth. and that's all I have to say, thank you." This is not the first time the actor has spoken about the media invading their privacy. Last month, Alia Bhatt took to social media to slam a publication for publishing photos of her that were taken while she was at her Bandra home without her permission.

The actor was relaxing in his living room when he "felt someone was following her." Following Bhatt's post, her film colleagues - Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor and Soni Razdan - condemned the incident and shared their own experiences of privacy invasion.
