A tragic road accident occurred near Dharmatala on Sunday, claiming the life of a scooter driver. The incident happened as the scooter traveled from Howrah towards Dharmatala and attempted to overtake a mini-bus near the Tea-board crossing.
According to eyewitnesses, the scooter and mini-bus traveled at high speeds. As the scooter driver maneuvered to overtake the bus, they lost control and fell directly under its wheels. Witnesses believe the driver died on the spot due to the impact.
